INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:
Glenn Stepp, 44, of Louisa, was arrested Monday on Old Route 3/Fitch Branch in Inez for careless driving and driving DUI-suspended. Sheriff Kirk saw Stepp pass a truck in a blind curve in oncoming traffic. Deputy Kidd reported that Stepp was driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license. According to the police report, Stepp said passing the truck was a “stupid decision,” and the “DUI” that suspended his license was years ago.
Jeffery W. Pinson, 30, of Inez, was arrested Sunday on a warrant charging him with fraudulent use of a credit card. Deputy Reffett made the arrest.
William Hickman, 61, of Louisa, was arrested Sunday on Route 645 in Inez for reckless driving, driving on a DUI-suspended license and failure to wear seat belts. Deputy Reffett reported traveling on Route 645 when a black Dodge pickup truck driven by Hickman almost side-swiped his patrol car. According to the police report, Hickman had an odor of alcohol and admitted to drinking.
Ryan L. Blankenship, 25, of Beauty, was arrested Friday on a warrant for failure to appear in court. Deputy M. Scott made the arrest.
Joy Mack, 31, of Michigan, was arrested Friday on a fugitive from another state warrant. Kidd served the warrant.
Asiaa Meeks, 26, of Inez, was arrested Thursday in Inez on a bench warrant for court. Deputy Dennis Hall made the arrest.
Bryshaun K. Dodds, 29, of Debord, was arrested Thursday at the United States Penitentiary Big Sandy in Debord on a fugitive from another state warrant. Kidd served the warrant.
Harold D. Moore, 61, of Debord, was arrested Thursday on Fitch Branch in Inez on a bench warrant for court. Deputy Daniel Reffett made the arrest.
Harold Moore, 61, of Debord, was arrested Thursday for driving on a DUI-suspended license and failure to surrender a revoked operator’s license.
Patricia Hill, 41, of Tomahawk, was arrested Oct. 11 at Save A Lot in Inez for public intoxication. Deputy Kidd responded to a call about a female slumped over with one leg hanging out of her parked vehicle in the parking lot. Kidd reported another officer made first contact with Hill and had to get inside the vehicle and do a sternum rub to wake her. Deputy Kidd said Hill had slurred speech and difficulty concentrating. According to the police report, Hill said she only used suboxone.
Paul Marcum, 37, of Wayne, West Virginia, was arrested Oct. 11 in Warfield for no operator’s or moped license. Deputy Reffett made the arrest.
Lisa Messer, 42, of Warfield, was arrested Oct. 10 at Riverside Apartments for disorderly conduct. Deputy David Reffett was investigating Riverside when Messer ran over to the neighbor’s along with her daughter, trying to fight the neighbors and making threats.
Britney Marie Hall, 22, of Warfield, was arrested Oct. 10 at Riverside Apartments for disorderly conduct. Deputy Reffett was investigating at Riverside Apartments in Warfield when Hall and her mother, Lisa Messer, went to a neighbor’s apartment, trying to fight the neighbors and cussing the neighbors.
Leslie Maynard, 44, of Inez, was arrested Oct. 10 on a bench warrant for court. Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.
