Kentucky announces call for Clean Water and Drinking Water projects

FRANKFORT — The Kentucky Infrastructure Authority (KIA) and the Kentucky Division of Water (DOW) announced Sept. 26 the 2025 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and the 2025 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Call for Projects.

The 2025 Call for Projects will be open from Sept. 26 to Dec. 15.

Project submittals will occur electronically and will be coordinated through the Area Water Management Councils. No paper submittals will be accepted.

The State Revolving Fund (SRF) programs are competitive, low-interest loan programs for drinking water, wastewater, stormwater and nonpoint source projects. Those interested in receiving funding from either SRF loan program must coordinate with their Area Development District to update or submit a project profile.

The DOW will use the information provided in the project profile to score and rank projects based on the published set of criteria.

Anyone with questions about completing the project profile or project eligibility for priority list inclusion can contact Russell Neal (Russell.neal@ky.gov) of the Water Infrastructure Branch of the DOW.

For more information on loan requirements, terms or eligibility, contact Sandy Williams (sandy.williams@ky.gov) or John Brady (john.brady@ky.gov) of KIA.
