Luster Ratcliff
1945—2023

Luster Ratcliff, 78, of Ft. Gay, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023, surrounded by his family at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington.

Born July 25, 1945, in Clifford, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Fred and Florence Copley Ratcliff of Crum.

Luster was retired from the Norfolk & Southern Railroad Company.

In addition to his parents, Luster is preceded in death by siblings Lewis Jr., James, Claude, Okie, Louise, Dicie, Minnie, Jessie Mae and Cordie, and his daughter, Amber Pack.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Linda Pack Ratcliff; three sons, Randy “Bud” (Rhonda) and Luster “Bub” (Brandi), both of Ft. Gay, and Paul of Louisa; daughter, Trista “Sis” (Jamey) of Ft. Gay; granddaughter, Kaydence; three grandsons, Dakota, Keion and Brennick; brother, Floyd Ratcliff of Ft. Gay; a special niece, Charlene Cantrell; and other numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Monday and all day Tuesday at the Webb Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, with Tommy Meddings officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Community Cemetery. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
