Tony (Tony Bear) Marcum 

1966—2023

Tony (Tony Bear) Marcum, 56, of Kermit, departed this life Sept. 3, 2023.

Born Dec. 9, 1966, in Franklin County, Ohio, he was the son of Irene Chaffins Marcum and the late Ralph Marcum. He was an equipment operator and of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his mother, those left behind to cherish his memory include his sister, Nadine (Bug) Williams of Kermit; the mother of his children, Michelle Roberts of Warfield, Kentucky; his children, Tony (Amber) Roberts of Belo, Kelsey Roberts of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Amanda Hignite of Lenore; and grandsons Hunter, Jace, Dawson, Taylor, Michael and Little Lester. He is also survived by nieces Amy and Ashley Williams, nephew Nathaniel and a host of cousins and extended family.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield, with Ken Allen officiating. Burial was at the Chaffins Cemetery on Marrowbone. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
