Martin County Arrest Report

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Fred Daniels

Fred Daniels, 52, of Tomahawk, was arrested Monday in Inez on an indictment warrant charging him with trafficking in controlled substance, first degree (over 2 grams methamphetamine), trafficking in marijuana (less than 8 ounces) and drug paraphernalia-buy/possession. Chief Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.

Jonathan E. Mollett

Jonathan E. Mollett, 35, of Louisa, was arrested Friday in Inez on an indictment warrant for receiving stolen property $1,000-$10,000 and persistent felony offender II. Kidd made the arrest.

Rush O. Fraley

Rush O. Fraley, 47, of Tomahawk, was arrested Friday in Tomahawk on an indictment warrant for receiving stolen property $1,000-$10,000 and persistent felony offender II. Kidd made the arrest.

Gladys Maynard

Gladys Maynard, 47, of Inez, was arrested Monday in Inez on a warrant. Kidd made the arrest.

Anthony R. Williamson

Anthony R. Williamson, 46, of Uniontown, was arrested Friday for contempt of court. Deputy Bennett made the arrest.

Benjamin Blackburn

Benjamin Blackburn, 41, of Inez, was arrested Thursday on Main Street in Inez on an indictment warrant. Deputy Cameron made the arrest.

Christopher Lee Maynard

Christopher Lee Maynard, 40, of Lovely, was arrested Thursday on an indictment warrant.

John L. Kirk Jr.

John L. Kirk Jr., 43, of Inez, was arrested Thursday on KY 2032 in Inez for leaving the scene of an accident-failure to render aid or assistance and alcohol intoxication in a public place. The police report states a 911 caller reported a vehicle accident on KY 2032, stating the vehicle was in the creek. A second caller stated Kirk removed stuff from his vehicle and took off. When Deputy Kidd arrived at the scene, the truck was unoccupied, but a witness informed him that Kirk was in the truck.

The truck had struck a telephone pole, breaking it in half. The deputy ran the license plate and learned the vehicle was registered to Kirk, who lives a short distance from the wreck.

Kidd found Kirk standing outside his home. Kirk allegedly stated he was in the vehicle and was trying to get someone to pull him out.

According to the police report, Kirk returned to the scene and “had slurred speech, difficulty speaking and a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his person. He was also yelling that someone had run him off the road. He advised he had ‘drank beer’ and ‘took his medication.’”

Matthew Daniels

Matthew Daniels, 32, of Tomahawk, was arrested Aug. 6 on Route 40 in Tomahawk on three warrants charging him with trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree (methamphetamine), unlawful possession of meth precursor, drug paraphernalia-buy/possession, persistent felony offender I, possession of controlled substance, first degree (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia-buy/possession, persistent felony offender I, probation violation (for felony offense), and probation violation (for felony offense). Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.

Timothy Matthew-James Gullett

Timothy Matthew-James Gullett, 26, of Inez, was arrested Sept. 5 for alcohol intoxication in a public place.
