Omega (Penix) Adams
1935—2023

Omega Adams, 88, of Louisa, passed away Aug. 29, 2023, at Martin County Health Care Facility in Inez.

Born Feb. 15, 1935, in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late John and Goldie Hall Penix. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Clell Adams and her son, Jerry Adams.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Ethel Adams, and three sons, Tony (Diana) Adams and Terry (Delilah) Adams, both of Tomahawk, and Clyde (Melanie) Adams of Inez. Additional survivors include six sisters, Gertrude (Phil) Kimble, Jenny Spade, Oretha Zickefoose, Sharon (Dave) Harris, Karen (Joe) Hydeck and Gail Berkleimer, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, Sept. 1, 2023, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with James Maynard officiating. Burial was at the Riverview Memorial Garden, under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
