The Kentucky Prayer Coalition ended its 12-county tour Friday in Martin, Johnson and Magoffin counties.
Prayer intercessors from across the state joined with the KPC to visit counties severely flooded some months ago to distribute Bibles to the schools and public libraries and to meet and pray with the county judge/executives.
April Hunt, KPC director, said the group prays “that there’s liquid gold from the tops of these mountains and these trees that are lifting their hands up to praise the lord; that there is a blessing that is being received by the people and the land that’s here because we are seeking God for total protection and direction.”
She added, “We’re praying for these leaders – that they will receive wisdom, guidance and revelation from the lord as they pray and seek him for the answers to provide for their people in the communities.
Of the tour of Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Johnson, Knott, Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Martin, Owsley, Perry and Pike counties, Hunt said, “It’s been such a blessing.”
