INEZ — Martin County High School golfers Jaylee Deskins and Kenadie Evans received exciting news Aug. 21, as they earned their first official college offers from Kentucky Christian University.

The offers came while Deskins and Evans were competing in the 15th Region All-A Tournament at StoneCrest.

KCU Coach Tom Posey was quick to recognize their exceptional talent and extended the invitation to play at the collegiate level.

This is Deskins’ third season of playing golf and Evans’ second season.

“It’s gratifying to witness their dedication translating into recognition from others,” Martin County coach Boo Newsome said. “A promising future awaits these two talented athletes.”
