INEZ — The Cline Brothers are sparking excitement this year as the 2023-24 football season takes shape.

Jack Cline (#14), a junior in the running back position for Martin County, has landed back on the field after taking a break from the game last season. His return adds speed and agility to an already-packed team of skilled players, making the season look all the more promising.

Jack has seven years of playing under his cleats.

He tells us that his favorite thing about Martin County is all the memories he has made.

Jack’s mom has been his biggest inspiration.

He offers the following advice for younger athletes: “Work hard and enjoy whatever sport you play. That’s all any coach really wants from you.”

Following his older brother, Jono Cline (#22) has awesome athletic abilities. As an incoming freshman at Martin County, he is set to play junior varsity running back and corner.

Jono made a great showing with the middle school wrestling team this past season. He also has a passion for the game of pool and is making a name for himself throughout local tournaments. His dream is to play in the APA (American Pool Association).

Jono attributes the great Efren Reyes as being his biggest inspiration.

Whether on a wrestling mat, behind a pool cue, or on the turf, fans can look forward to exciting developments from the athletic brothers throughout their high school careers.
