INEZ — Chloe May of the Martin County Lady Cardinals Class of 2026 has been hand-picked to participate in the esteemed CP3 Rising Stars National Camp, founded by NBA superstar Chris Paul.
Chris Paul’s commitment to nurturing young talent makes the CP3 Rising Stars National Camp a highly sought-after experience. The invitation-only is a gathering of the most promising young basketball talents from across the nation. The event serves as a platform for players to showcase skills, learn from experienced coaches and compete alongside the best in their age group.
Beyond the competition, the camp provides opportunities for skill development, exposure to college and professional scouts and fosters lasting friendships.
Among more than 10,000 active players on the youth basketball AAU travel circuit, May’s talent and potential earned her an invitation to the exclusive event. Her dedication to the game, combined with her exceptional performance on the court, caught the attention of camp selectors, leading to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
“I am blessed to have received the opportunity to participate in the CP3 camp, and I will represent Martin County High School to the best of my ability,” said May. “I’m looking forward to playing against some of the best players in the nation and will take full advantage of this opportunity.”
The camp is scheduled for Aug. 25-27 at Rise Indoor Sports in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
