Kevin Jerrel Spence, age 33, of Tomahawk, passed away Aug. 5, 2023.

He was born Nov. 12, 1989 in Prestonsburg to James Fannin and Joanie Spence Hill.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather David Hill, one brother, Scottie Fannin, and one sister, Kimberly Vance.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Kevin Lee Spence; his girlfriend, Thomasina Wallen; his step-mother, Carol Fannin; six brothers, Jamie Spence, Jason (Kala) Spence, Corey (Kendra) Hill, Wesley (Claudia) Fannin, Joseph (Tammy) Fannin and David (Sarah) Hill; and five sisters, Edna (Brandon) Simpkins, Tabitha (Bradon) Hill, Brittany (Brandon) Hogstein, Davina (David) Bragg and Madison McKinnon. A host of nieces and nephews also survive him.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
