INEZ — Mark your calendars, gather your plaid and sunflowers and join the fun at the Mr./Miss Harvest Festival pageant this September. The pageant is scheduled for Sept. 9 at noon in the Martin County Public Library gym in Inez.

Organizers encourage contestants to dress in fall casual wear, evoking the essence of the season with attire such as sweaters, plaid, and themes inspired by fall pictures, pumpkin patches and sunflower fields.

Every contestant will receive a crown and all participants will be invited to ride in the Martin County Harvest Festival parade.

The entry fee is $50 and an optional supreme entry is $20.

This pageant is open to girls and boys of all ages.
