Roy Goble
1950—2023

Jesus Christ called Roy B. Goble home Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Prestonsburg ARH Medical Center after a long hard battle with cancer.

He was born Nov. 4, 1950, to the late Edward Lee Goble and Virginia Goble of Debord. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Gary M. Goble of Debord.

Roy is survived by his wife, Martha M. Goble of Debord; five sons, Garlon J. Howard, Roy K. Goble, Steve Goble, Nicky Goble, all of Debord, and Ricky Goble of Yellow Creek; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one uncle, Wilburn Goble of Inez and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 24, 2023, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Joe Castle officiating. Burial was at the Goble Cemetery in Debord. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
