Mingo County Arrests

WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Mingo County Sheriff Joe Smith’s Department reported the following arrests:

Willie W. McCoy

Willie W. McCoy of Beech Creek was arrested Tuesday by Sgt C. Endicott, Cpl E. Williams and Cpl M.J. Mounts for entering without breaking, petit larceny and an outstanding family court capias.

Billie Coleman

Billie Coleman of Baisden was arrested Monday in connection with the Joey Lester arrest Sunday. She was charged with five counts of animal cruelty.

Jesse Dingess

Jesse Dingess of Matewan was arrested Monday by Mingo County Home Confinement Officer S. Justice and Probation Officer M. Fraley for probation and home confinement violations.

Roger Lamb

Roger Lamb of Delbarton was arrested Monday by Chief Home Confinement Officer K.E. Wilson, Officer S. Justice and Probation Officer M. Fraley for violating home confinement and probation conditions.

Brenda Francis

Brenda Francis of Matewan was arrested Monday by Deputy B.T. Sipple and Deputy T.J. Justice and faces one count each of entering without breaking and petit larceny.

Joey Lester

Joey Lester of Baisden was arrested Sunday by Mingo Deputy T.J. Justice with assistance from the WVSP. He was charged with five counts of animal cruelty.

Billy Altice

Billy Altice of Williamson was arrested Friday by Chief Home Confinement Officer K.E. Wilson on charges of probation and home confinement violations. 

Mary Runyon

Mary Runyon of Delbarton was taken into custody Friday by Sgt. C. Endicott and Deputy M. Tiller on charges of trespassing, obstructing an officer, assault, disorderly conduct, attempted grand larceny and possession of methamphetamine. 

Joshua A. Collis

Joshua A. Collis of Marrowbone Creek was arrested June 6 by Lt. R.G. Messer and Cpl. M.J. Mounts on charges of obstructing and fleeing on foot.
