HARDY — Two women face charges after police seized 2 pounds of suspected fentanyl from their residence in the Hardy community of Pike County.
Kentucky State Police arrested Leatrice Hunt, 41, and Destiny Hunt, 19, following a search of the Hunt home Thursday.
In addition to the suspected fentanyl, officers say they discovered drug paraphernalia, multiple firearms and an estimated $25,000 cash.
The two were lodged at the Pike County Detention Center. Both face a charge of trafficking in controlled substance, while Destiny Hunt faces a second charge of tampering with physical evidence.
Kentucky State Police have not disclosed the relationship between the two individuals.
