William Bryant Tilley

1947—2023

William Bryant Tilley, 75, of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, in Huntington.

Born Sept. 30, 1947, in West Virginia, he was the son of the late John M. and Amanda Mullins Tilley.

Bill was retired from General Motors of Columbus, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Eda Tilley; daughters, Lori Jean Charles of McConnersville, Ohio, Christy (Stan) Belville of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and Stacy (Aaron) Powers of Medina, Ohio; four grandchildren; sisters, Dana H. Tilley of Columbus, Ohio, Mary F. of Moreno, Virginia, Rachel R. Tilley of Columbus, Ohio, Rebecca L. of Johnsontown, Ohio. Many nieces and nephews also survive him.

He was preceded in death by sisters Elizabeth June Horne and Inez N. Tilley and brothers Russell E. Tilley, Wilburn R. Tilley, John M. Tilley, Robert L. Tilley, Hercel G. Tilley, Walter N. Tilley, and Daniel P. Tilley.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, June 2, 2023, at Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, with Dave Brewer, Josh and Aaron Walker officiating. Burial was in the Williamson Cemetery on Jennies Creek. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
