Senior Travel Club

Basketball star Matt Linville (#34) helped the Cardinals claim their second 15th Region championship in four years and their first-ever 15th Region All-A Classic championship. Linville’s role was to rally the energy and get everyone to do their jobs on the court. Linville committed to West Virginia Tech.

Baseball seniors Dawson Mills, Chris Phillips, Greyden Proctor, Dennison Davis, Garrett Alley and Evan Crum. Proctor surpassed 100 career strikeouts as a Martin County Cardinal and holds the records for most strikeouts in a season and a career. Lady Cardinals seniors Savannah Young, Brynnalyn Smith, Bailey Dials, Kaley Maynard and Hannah Stacy.

Aleah Harris will serve her country in the Kentucky Army National Guard. She goes to basic training in September and will be a 92A – Automated Logistical Specialist. She will use her 100% in-state tuition assistance to further her education and attend Morehead State University in the spring.

Martin County High School Band was 113 members strong after teaming with Martin County Middle School and Pike County Central to play for the boys basketball team in the Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena.

Aaron Scott Mills will continue his fishing career at Kentucky Christian University.

Martin County Wrestling finished as Region 8 runner-up and placed fourth in the state duals.
