Appalachia Reach Out announces summer vacation bible school

WARFIELD — Appalachia Reach Out has announced its Summer 2023 Vacation Bible School schedule, promising an enriching and fun-filled experience for children in grades 5-6.

The VBS sessions will take place over three weeks at Warfield Park, providing an ideal setting for spiritual growth and engaging activities.

Participants can immerse themselves in crafts, games, music and Bible stories and enjoy a delicious lunch.

The VBS program runs on the following dates from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

June 5-8

June 19-22

July 17-20

Appalachia Reach Out welcomes all children to join in the excitement. The team at ARO is dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive environment where children can develop their spirituality, socialize with peers, and have fun during their summer break.

With its stunning natural surroundings, Warfield Park offers the perfect backdrop, allowing children to connect with nature while engaging in meaningful activities. The curriculum has been meticulously designed for an unforgettable experience.

During each week of the VBS, attendees will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of their faith through interactive Bible stories. Through these stories, children will learn important life lessons, instilling values of compassion, kindness, and love.

Crafts and games have been planned to reinforce the themes and teachings, encouraging creativity and teamwork.
