INEZ — The Camp of Champions Basketball Camp kicks off Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Martin County High School.

The cost for all three days of the camp is $50. Registration will be from 8 a.m.-9 a.m. May 30. Participants can register and pay at the door.

The Camp of Champions is for boys and girls K-7 and is sponsored by Tim Short, Crum Funeral Home and Farm Bureau Insurance.

Camp will start each day at 9 a.m. and run until noon.

Coach Robin Newsome, her coaching staff, and current and former players will be on hand to work with campers daily.

“This is a jam-packed fun three days,” Newsome said. “My players and staff do a good job working with the kids and the kids love it. Come to camp with the champs.”

Campers will receive instruction in fundamental stations, team drills and play competition games. Kids will compete in free-throw contests, shooting and more.

Two or more campers in the same family will receive a discount.

Campers will receive a basketball, camp shirt and awards.
