Martin County Arrest Report

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Rachel Salisbury, 38, of Prestonsburg, was arrested May 16 in Inez on a bench warrant. Chief Deputy Chris Kidd served the warrant.

Angelo Jordan

Angelo Jordan, 30, of Tomahawk, was arrested Tuesday on Trace Fork on a fugitive from another state warrant. Deputy Jonathan Holbrook made the arrest.

Denise Lee Williamson, 56, of Kermit, W.Va., was arrested Monday on Beauty Road in Beauty for possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/substance. Deputy Jonathan Holbrook reported that Sheriff Kirk stopped Williamson after seeing her cross the yellow line several times. The officers reported that they smelled marijuana coming from Williamson and that she had three small candy bottles containing a green leafy substance. Williamson allegedly told the officers she had just lit one up and taken one puff.

Joann Reed, 64, of Beauty, was arrested Monday at Cline Complex in Inez for alcohol intoxication in a public place, possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and prescription controlled substance not in original container. Sheriff Kirk reported Reed had a strong odor of alcohol about her and failed the field sobriety test. According to the police report, Reed admitted she had drunk beer. The sheriff seized 10 Neurontin pills and six oxycodone 10 mg.

Charles A. Spence

Charles A. Spence, 46, of Inez, was arrested Saturday on a parole violation. KSP Trooper Smith made the arrest.

Forrest Hinkle

Forrest Hinkle, 65, of Tomahawk, was arrested Friday on Hinkle Loop in Tomahawk for prescription controlled substance not in proper container, second-degree possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified), third-degree possession of controlled substance (drug unspecified) and a bench warrant for failure to appear for misdemeanor citation.

Deputy David Adams was arresting Hinkle on a warrant out of Montgomery County when he located a silver container with four orange six-sided pills with 8N on one side and M on the other, identified as suboxone, one white oval pill with S/G on one side and 1/78 on the other side identified as 800 mg Gabapentin.

Susan Thomas

Susan Thomas, 45, of Hyden, was arrested Thursday in Inez on two bench warrants. Chief Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.
