Steve Moore

1956—2023

Steve Moore, 67, of Louisa, passed away May 3, 2023, at Three Rivers Medical Center.

Born Jan. 19, 1956, in Pilgrim, he was the son of the late James Henry Moore and Estelene Maynard Moore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Lowell Dean Moore, Eddie Moore and Lonnie Joe Moore.

He is survived by one son, Steven Joseph (Michelle) Moore of Louisa; one daughter, Krista Rose (David) Morrison of Sadieville; his companion, Janette Tackett of Louisa; two brothers, John Russell Moore of Pilgrim and Aaron Moore of Texas; and two sisters, Fern Muncy of Pilgrim and Henrietta Moore of West Virginia. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Lauren Harless, Cole Moore, Connor Tackett, Corbin Tackett, Kaylee Tackett and Cash Morrison, and two great-grandchildren, Nash Harless and A.J. Harless.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 6, 2023, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Burial was at the Moore Cemetery under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
