He questioned Maynard about increased traffic to his apartment. According to Kidd, Maynard said all he had inside his apartment was “bud.” Maynard told the officer that he would show it to him.
While in the kitchen, the officer found two clear bags containing a crystal substance sitting on the microwave. Kidd reported that Maynard denied knowing it was there. He allegedly told law enforcement later that he did not sell “meth” and it was there for personal use.

According to Adams, Howard and a male subject, sitting inside a vehicle, advised they were smoking marijuana from a bowl they made from a Pepsi can. The deputy found a clear bag containing a green leafy substance on the rear floorboard of the vehicle, along with a glass pipe that Howard allegedly said was used for smoking meth.
