Martin County High School Senior Travel Club takes trip of a lifetime to Pigeon Forge

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — Martin County High School Senior Travel Club members experienced a trip of a lifetime to celebrate their high school years.

Last week the club traveled to Pigeon Forge, where they visited the NASCAR Speedpark, SevierAir Trampoline Park, The Island, Wilderness Indoor Water Park, Dollywood, Beyond the Lens and shopping outlets. They enjoyed eating at various restaurants and roasting s’mores by the fire together.

The seniors will receive a stole to wear at graduation.

They wish to thank Schools Superintendent Larry James, MCHS Principal Martha Williams and everyone who helped make the trip happen. They also give a special shoutout to the best bus driver, Ethel Moore, for always going above and beyond.

Seniors members include Cadi Crum, Bailey Dials, Chelsea Jude, Kealeigh Jude, Taylor Jude, Paige Maynard, Alexie Moore, Hannah Robinson, Allison Scott, Braxton Smith, Brynn Smith, Elbert Smith, Hannah Stacy, Angelina Tackett, Austin Washburn, Kirsten Wells, Ethan Williams, Skyler Williamson, Savannah Young, Emila Ek, Marlie Fletcher and Joanna Hung.

Teachers who help run the club and chaperoned the trip are Boo Newsome, Machelle Ray, PJ Harris, Taylor Slone and Lance Tackett.
