Inez boutique offers sports and fashion apparel

Main Emporium opened its doors in Inez in January 2019 with the motto, “Every day is a fashion show and the world is your runway.”
Owned by the son-and-mother team Daniel Cline and Rita Horn Stacy, Main Emporium evolved from Bluegrass Creative Designs LLC.
“I started the business in Lexington for about a year before opening an actual boutique,” Cline said. “But I decided I wanted to be closer to home – and there was nothing in town like this.”
Cline and Stacy initially opened the boutique next to Pizza Stop. The business grew and soon needed more space for its merchandise and twice-weekly Facebook live sales.
The building that formerly housed Mooney’s Restaurant (located next to Main Attraction Salon) provided a spacious opportunity, so the owners moved the shop to 962 E. Main Street in Inez.
Since then, Cline and boutique employees have become Facebook-famous for their live sales every Tuesday at noon and Thursday at 6 p.m. Folks nationwide tune in to watch the live sales. The hosts often transform into popular characters and perform great skits that attract viewers to a showcase of products and a delightful experience.
“We have such a great time together,” employee Aleshia Chapman said of the live sales. “And that helps bring in the customer base – making it fun.”
Main Emporium offers high-quality custom embroidery, screen printing, sublimations, and wholesale promotional products for teams, groups, businesses and individuals. The boutique features fashion apparel, formals, jeans, shoes, polos, tee-shirts, jewelry and accessories for women and men.
“Fashion is very important,” said Chapman. “It is life-enhancing and like everything that gives pleasure, it is worth doing well.”
Main Emporium caters to customers across the state, does fundraisers for schools, proudly supports Martin County High School, and is a philanthropist for Stray Hearts Animal Shelter.
“We pride ourselves on superior customer service,” said Stacy, noting Main Emporium is an official vendor of Simply Southern.
Of the boutique’s tremendous success, Stacy said, “Believe it. You can achieve it.”
