Martin County Arrest Report

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s office reported the following arrests:

Jeffery Pinson

Jeffery Pinson, 30, of Inez, was arrested Thursday in Inez for theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others and first-degree criminal mischief. Deputy Kidd made the arrest.

George English

George English, 51, of Warfield, was arrested March 29 in Warfield on a complaint warrant for court charging him with first-degree criminal trespassing and menacing. Kidd served the warrant.

Larry Johnson

Larry Johnson, 73, of Inez, was arrested March 29 on Main Street in Inez for criminal trespassing. Deputy Kidd responded to a complaint that Johnson was going through and getting in cars behind the government center. When the deputy arrived, Johnson was sitting inside a blue Ford Crown Victoria owned by the Martin County Fiscal Court. The deputy noted that Johnson had been told several times to stay away from vehicles and property he did not own.

Ray Collins

Ray Collins, 66, of Inez, was arrested March 28 in Inez on a bench warrant for court. Kidd made the arrest.

Marlon Mollett

Marlon Mollett, 35, of Tomahawk, was arrested March 24 on Trace Ridge Road, Tomahawk, for selling or receiving a vehicle with removed or altered VIN. Deputy Adams reported that he was following up on an investigation of a stolen U-Hall truck. He had recovered the box (rear half) at another location and learned that Mollett had traded the box for a street bike. When the deputy arrived, he located part of the U-Haul cab frame in Mollett’s yard.

Ariel Carver

Ariel Carver, 25, of Warfield, was arrested March 24 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia possession, possession of marijuana, and prescription controlled substance not in property container. Deputy Kidd reported that he responded to a drug tip and went to Dempsey Apartments, where Carver stated she only had marijuana and paraphernalia inside her apartment. Kidd received permission to enter the apartment and look. The officer located a bag of marijuana, clear bags containing a crystal substance that Carver allegedly stated was “meth,” and round pills that Carver allegedly stated were suboxone. According to the police report, Carver stated the “stuff is mine” and that she “needs help getting clean.”
