Mary Moore

1943—2023

Mary Moore, 79, of Inez, Kentucky, passed away March 14, 2023 at her residence.

Born Aug. 25, 1943 in Oppy, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Wilda Blackburn Finley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, James Riggs Sr. and her second husband, Shelton D. Moore; two daughters, Bertha Riggs and Mary Maynard; sisters, Bertha Mills and Hazel Muncy; and several brothers.

Survivors include one son, James Riggs of Inez; one brother, Sid Finley of Inez; and one sister, Sarah Ruble of Louisiana. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted Friday, March 17, 2023 at Crum Funeral Home in Inez.
