Dewayne Williams

1955—2023

Dewayne Williams, 67, of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at Tug Valley ARH in South Williamson.

He was born Sept. 14, 1955 to the late Albert and Elizabeth Williams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Williams; son, Steven Williams; grandchild, Angel Baby; sister, Ida Mae Rose; and one sister-in-law, Pam Williams. 

Dewayne is survived by one daughter, Kim (Sid Moore) Williams of Kermit; step-daughter, Ashley (Thomas) Thacker; grandchildren, Christoper (Ora) Stacy, Kristina Stacy, Austin Stacy, Elizabeth (Marcus) Butcher, Mason (Shelby) Preece, Sierra Williams and Tierra Williams, step-grandchild, Conner Thacker; and great-grandchildren, Chloe and Steven Stacy, Alaia Butcher and two on the way. He is also survived by his siblings, Dallas (Ann) Williams, Roger (Kathy) Williams, Earnest (Gracie) Williams, Harlan (Nadine) Williams, Russell Williams, James (Charlene) Williams, Troy (Destiny) Williams, Jenny (Robert) Hinkle, Dora (Billy Kozee) Williams and Barbara Marcum. 

The funeral service was conducted at the Warfield Chapel of the Callaham Funeral Home March 20, 2023 with Ken Allen officiating. Burial was at the Williams Cemetery in Kermit under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
