Two men arrested on Marrowbone Creek for selling meth

KERMIT, W.Va. — Mingo County Sheriff Joe Smith made a pair of drug arrests Tuesday near the Kermit area.

Jarrett R. Lowe of Louisa, Kentucky, was arrested by for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony.

Jamie R. Crigger of Kermit was arrested for three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of conspiracy to deliver, child neglect creating risk of injury and person prohibited in possession of a firearm.

The two are charged with selling meth.

Sheriff Smith said both were arrested at Marrowbone Creek as part of a lengthy investigation conducted by the U.S. 119 Drug Task Force and the MCSD.

Smith said his department is working on the illegal drug trafficking in the county. Many other crimes such as burglary are related to drug abuse.
