INEZ — Martin County Jail transport officers have been equipped with medical kits thanks to a donation by Patriot Ambulance Serice.

Jailer Bill Preece said the kits would have cost the county, so he reached out to Joshua Hunt at the ambulance service to request the donation.

“Within 15 minutes they said, ‘yes,’ and made me up two really nice medical bags and donated them to the county,” Preece said. “Now we have one in each cruiser like we needed.”

Preece said the kits contain high-quality medical supplies.
