George Virgil Daniels

1960—2023

George Virgil Daniels, 63, of Tomahawk, Kentucky, passed away March 9, 2023 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

He was born March 7, 1960 to the late Paul B. and Elvie Setser Daniels of Tomahawk. 

George is survived by four siblings, Charlie (Jeannie) Daniels, Paul Jr. Daniels, Colleen (Haskel) Johnson and Edgar Lee (Carol) Daniels, who loved him dearly; four nephews, Israel (Lisa) Daniels, Michael Daniels, Travis Ray Johnson and Jacob (Marlena) Daniels; three nieces, Mellie Daniels, Elvie (Charles) Wallace and Jennifer (James) Daniels. Additional survivors include 14 great-nieces and great-nephews, Dylan, Hailey, Nathan, Lillian, Alaina, Kie Thomas, Jessica, Jailyn, Michael, Shelby, Kinsley, Madison, Peyton and Paisley; three special aunts and one uncle, Colleen Tackett, Verladene (Bruce) Carter and Lucille Whitt; and many cousins and friends who all dearly loved him.

George Virgil will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a blessing to be around. He was a good Christian boy who loved everything Gospel, loved and believed in Jesus, and is Heaven-bound.

The family thanks everyone who came to visit and brought flowers and food . 

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez with Claude Mollett officiating. Burial was at the Daniels Cemetery in Tomahawk under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
