Phyllis Diane Marcum

1960—2023

Phyllis Diane Marcum, 62, of Jennies Creek (West Virginia), went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at her home.

Born Oct. 20, 1960 in Logan, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Emogene Marcum of Breeden. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Shawn Marcum, Brian Keith Marcum and Johnny Mac Sparks; granddaughter, Breanna Denise Baisden; and nephew, Ryan Jason Marcum; and grandparents, Nora and Bunn Marcum and Lavinnia and Harrison Marcum.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Robert Allen Baisden, Jeannie Marie McCoy, Sonya Lynn Ward and William Ward (son-in-law); sisters, Sherri Vance, Donna Marcum, Melissa Evans, Angela Parsley, Maria Stanek; brothers, Jeffery Marcum, Gary Marcum, Darrell Marcum and Larry Perry; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by many more nieces, nephews and family members who loved her dearly.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 3, 2023 at Walnut Grove Church of Christ with Bruce Justice officiating. Burial was at the Brian Keith Marcum Cemetery in Breeden. Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield is honored to serve the family.
