Charles Blackburn
1966—2023

Charles Blackburn, 56, of Crum, West Virginia, passed away at his home Monday, Feb. 13, 2023.

He was born Aug. 7, 1966 to the late Juanita Vanatter Blackburn and Millard Blackburn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two siblings, Lannie Joe Blackburn and Tammy Lynn Rose.

Charles is survived by his wife, Dorothy Daniels; children, Kristie (Chris) Fields and Zane (Megan) Gamble; and grandchildren, Leandra (Jay) Hinkle, Allison Fields, Miles Gamble, Nolan Gamble and Arabella Gamble. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert (Amanda) Blackburn, Claude (Lois) Blackburn, Earl (Stephanie) Blackburn, Roger Blackburn and Lummie (Paul) Conn, all of Crum.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023 at the Stoney Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Stonecoal, West Virginia, with Rodney Brown officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
