Sheila Williams

1966—2023

Sheila Williams, 56, of Kermit, W.Va., passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2023 at Tug Valley ARH Regional Medical Center in South Williamson.

She was born July 18, 1966 in Pike County to the late Arizona and Wayne Varney. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepson, Steven Williams and four siblings, Roger Varney, Danny Varney, Gregory Varney and Phyllis Ann Varney.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Dwayne Williams of Kermit; one daughter, Ashely Thacker and husband, Thomas of Regina; a stepdaughter, Kim Williams; and one grandson, Connor Thacker. She is also survived by her siblings, Denver Varney, Jeffrey Varney, Phillip Varney, Wayne Thomas Varney, Christine Varney, Barb Keene and Debbie Tackett.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2023 at the Warfield Chapel of the Callaham Funeral Home, with Ken Allen officiating. Burial will follow at the Williams Cemetery in Kermit, W.Va. Friends may visit the chapel Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday from 5-9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
