INEZ — Get dressed up and dance the night away. Eastern Kentucky ASD & SPD Group is hosting a Memories for a Mission Adult Prom to raise funds for the Kendyl & Friends All-Inclusive Playground -The Christian Cage Campus in Martin County.
The event is set for Saturday (Feb. 11) from 6-9 p.m. at the Collier Center, 387 E. Main Street, Inez.
Tickets are on sale for $30 for singles and $50 for couples. You can purchase your tickets online at account.venmo.com/u/KendylandFriendsFoundation or via PayPal paypal.com/paypalme/eastKyASD. In the notes section, put your name and “Adult Prom.” You can also buy tickets at the door.
This ticket price includes food and drinks.
There will be a silent auction, grand march, prom king and queen, professional pictures from Lori Beth Day Photography, entertainment by live DJ Timothy Ray Lykins and Cassady’s BBQ & Shaved Ice.
Kendyl & Friends All-Inclusive Playground – The Christian Cage Campus is an inclusive playground where children with disabilities can safely play alongside their peers.
Those who cannot attend but still want to participate in the silent auction can do so on East Kentucky ASD & SPD Support Group Facebook page or the Memories for a Mission Facebook event page.
Kendyl & Friends All-Inclusive Playground – The Christian Cage is a partnership between the Kendyl & Friends Foundation, East Kentucky ASD & SPD Support Group and Martin County Tourism.
The amount needed to complete the playground by Nov. 30, 2023, is $337,860. As of Feb. 1, the amount raised was $52,560.
