CITIZEN STAFF REPORT
WARFIELD — Elizabeth Mann has been named the Martin County Middle School volleyball coach.
Mann brings experience to the program as she played volleyball at the high school level. She takes over the middle school enthusiastically and has already gotten to work with the Lady Cards by practicing and competing in their first tournament Saturday.
The young team has a lot of talent, with most athletes playing multiple sports during different seasons.
When Mann was asked about being hired, she said, “I have watched most of these girls play sports since elementary school and to have the chance to coach them is a great honor.”
Catch the Lady Cards volleyball team in action on Feb. 7 in their home opener at Martin County Middle School versus Herald Whitaker.
