Vivian Marlene Stanley

1957—2023

Vivian Marlene Stanley, 65, of Warfield, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa.

Born Sept. 20, 1957 in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late John Cornette and Ethel Stanley. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one grandson, Timothy Michael Cornett and four siblings, Patricia Grubb, Bill Patrick, Lois Patrick and Jimmy Patrick. 

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Melissa (David) Mills of Inez; seven grandchildren, Donny Gilliam, Katrena Gilliam, Blade Blackburn, Justin Blackburn, Jason Blackburn, Shaden Horn and Mistic Horn; and two great-grandchildren, Keira Mollett and Maci Griffith. She is also survived by four siblings, Sadie Cisco, Rubie Whitt, Sam Patrick and George Patrick. 

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023 at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Ray Patrick officiating. Burial was at the Patrick Cemetery, under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
