INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s office reported the following arrests.
Leslie Maynard, 43, of Inez, was arrested Monday at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on an indictment warrant for first-degree criminal mischief. Chief Deputy Chris Kidd served the warrant.
Cody Gullett, 21, of Pilgrim, was arrested Monday in Inez on an indictment warrant. Deputy J.C. Kirk served the warrant.
Glen Dale Winfree, 50, of Inez, was arrested Monday on Marcumtown Road for assault, fourth degree (domestic violence) minor injury. Deputy Kidd reports Winfree forced his way into the victim’s apartment, grabbed the victim, taking her to the ground, then proceeded to grab the victim and force her onto the porch. The officer says he obtained victim and witness statements
Clayton Jude, 49, of Warfield, was arrested Sunday on S. Wolf Creek, Pilgrim, on three bench warrants. Deputy J.C. Kirk made the arrest.
Jason K. Fields, 38, of Inez, was arrested Saturday on Peter Cave Branch, Inez, on a bench warrant for failure to appear. Adams made the arrest.
Jordan Tyler Stacy, 27, of Lovely, was arrested Saturday on N. Wolf Creek Road, Lovely, on a bench warrant for court. Deputy J.C. Kirk made the arrest.
Christopher Marcum, 47, of Inez, was arrested Saturday on Dick Fannin Lane, Inez, on bench warrants for failure to appear in court. Deputy David Adams made the arrest.
Christopher Jude, 41, of Lovely, was arrested Friday at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on an indictment warrant charging him with fleeing or evading police, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and resisting arrest. Kidd served the warrant.
Michelle L. Horn, 33, of Debord, was arrested Friday in Inez on an indictment warrant charging her with fleeing or evading police and wanton endangerment. Adams made the arrest.
Taylor G. Howell, 24, of Lovely, was arrested Friday on Maynard Drive in Lovely on two indictment warrants charging him with theft by unlawful taking all others $1,000-$10,000, violation of air pollution standards and rules, theft by unlawful taking disposition all others $1,000-$10,000, criminal mischief, first degree. Adams made the arrest.
Homer Evans, 65, of Lovely, was arrested Friday on Riverfront Road, Lovely, on a bench warrant for court. Kidd made the arrest.
John G. Pack, 19, of Warfield, was arrested Friday in Pilgrim on an indictment warrant charging him with theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others $1,000-$10,000 and criminal mischief, first degree. Adams made the arrest.
Craig A. Preston, 50, of Thelma, was arrested Thursday for public intoxication. The police report says Kidd was dispatched to Route 645 for a male walking, possibly intoxicated, and observed Preston having trouble walking. Preston allegedly shouted he found the “meth pipe and took two hits,” had difficulty speaking, and had glassy, bloodshot eyes and confusion. The deputy said when he asked Preston where he was going, Preston stated, “That must have been bad meth.”
Jeremy Maynard, 39, of Lovely, was arrested Thursday in Inez on a warrant out of Pike County for contempt of court libel/slander resistance to order. Deputy Billy Patrick made the arrest.
Shannon Justice, 30, of Warfield, was arrested Thursday in Inez on a warrant for contempt of court libel/slander resistance to order and probation violation (for a felony offense). Patrick made the arrest.
Derrick Brewer, 38, address unknown, was arrested Thursday at Dempsey Housing in Warfield for criminal trespassing, second degree and violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO. Adams received a complaint that Brewer wanted an officer to accompany him to get his clothes. Dispatch advised that Brewer stated he had spoken to management and was told the law had to go with him to get his belongings. Adams says he advised dispatch that Brewer had to get a court order as he had an active EPO, and there had been several complaints of him violating the EPO. Dispatch gave Adams a phone number for Brewer, but Adams could not reach him by phone. The deputy went to Dempsey, where he spoke with the complex manager, who advised Brewer was on the barred list. While Adams was talking to the petitioner in the EPO case, Brewer stood on the sidewalk and stated, “They are awake. I have been watching the apartment and when you started knocking, I watched her turn the lights off.”
Susan Cox, 56, of Inez, was arrested Jan. 4 in Debord. Deputy Kidd says Cox was involved with two men arranging fraudulent insurance acts, burning personal property to defraud insurance and defrauding a secured creditor.
Jackie Haney, 27, of Debord, was arrested Jan. 4 at Ed Moore Lane. Kidd says Haney was implicated in an ongoing investigation and is accused of taking a vehicle from Cardinal Country Store up Route 3 and setting it on fire.
Harold P. Moore, 61, of Debord, was arrested Jan. 4 in Inez for allegedly taking a vehicle from Cardinal Country Store up Route 3 and setting it on fire. Kidd made the arrest.
Patrick L. Blackburn, 27, of Inez, was arrested Jan. 4 in Inez on a bench warrant out of Johnson District Court. Adams made the arrest.
Kathy Endicott, 48, of Inez, was arrested Jan. 4 in Inez on a bench warrant out of Floyd District Court. Adams made the arrest.
Curt Russell Spence, 34, of Warfield, was arrested Jan. 3 in Warfield on a bench warrant for court. Adams made the arrest.
MackArthur Estepp, 37, of Warfield, was arrested Jan. 3 in Warfield on a bench warrant for court. Adams made the arrest.
Jeremy Jarvis, 34, of Inez, was arrested Jan. 2 in Inez on a bench warrant for court. Kidd made the arrest.
Courtney Moore, 27, of Pilgrim, was arrested Jan. 2 in Inez on five bench warrants for court. Kidd made the arrest.
Jackie Blackburn, 57, of Beauty, was arrested Jan. 1 in Beauty for terroristic threatening, third degree. Sheriff Kirk reports Blackburn threatened to kill Christopher Maynard in front of him. The sheriff was dispatched to a residence on Himlerville Road, where the caller stated Maynard was attempting to enter the residence. When the sheriff arrived, Maynard was inside a neighbor’s house. Maynard was intoxicated, and the owner wanted him to leave. As Maynard was leaving with a constable, Blackburn allegedly said he would kill Maynard.
Arthur Ray Jude, 38, of Inez, was arrested Jan. 1 on Little Rockcastle Road, Inez, on a bench warrant for court. Deputy John C. Kirk made the arrest.
Linda Kay Mollett, 59, of Tomahawk, was arrested Jan. 1 in Tomahawk on a bench warrant for court. Deputy Maynard made the arrest.
Shannon Goble, 44, of Inez, was arrested Jan. 1 in Inez on a bench warrant for court. Patrick made the arrest.
Casey Joe Spence, 24, of Tomahawk, was arrested Jan. 1 in Inez on a parole violation warrant. Sheriff Kirk received a report that Spence was in a verbal argument and destroying furniture at a residence on Maynard Road. During the investigation, the sheriff discovered Spence had an outstanding warrant.
Michael Wayne Farley, 44, of Inez, was arrested Dec. 31 in Inez on a bench warrant for court. Adams made the arrest.
John H. Jude, 53, of Debord, was arrested Dec. 31 in Debord for two counts of failure to appear and one count of probation violation (for a felony offense). Adams made the arrest.
Linda Balls, 47, of Tomahawk, was arrested Dec. 31 in Tomahawk for three warrants for contempt of court libel/slander resistance to order. Adams made the arrest
Jeremy Howell, 37, of Grethel, was arrested Dec. 30 in Inez on a case involving the theft of items from Inez Power. Kidd made the arrest.
Ashley Dawn Caudill, 29, of Beaver, was arrested Dec. 29 in Inez for contempt of court libel/slander resistance to order. Deputy Adams received a complaint from dispatch of a combative female at the Serenity House. Adams said staff handed him a court order stating Caudill was ordered to the facility, and if she left, she would be immediately returned to PCDC.
Gabriel Cooper, 28, of Logan, W.Va., was arrested Dec. 29 in Warfield for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of controlled substance. The police report says Cooper swerved over on Hode Road when he noticed a cracked front windshield and performed a traffic stop at Warfield City Hall. Kidd said Cooper had glassy, bloodshot eyes and appeared under the influence. Cooper allegedly said he smoked weed about one hour before the traffic stop.
