David Whitt

1977—2023

David Ulysses Grant Whitt, 45, of Inez, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

He was born March 23, 1977 in Louisa to David Whitt and Coletta Dickerson Whitt. He is preceded in death by one son, David Nicholas Whitt, and one niece, Natasha Dindal.

David is survived by his mother and stepfather, Coletta and Michael Whitt of Adams; his father, David Whitt of Inez; five children, Josh Whitt, Jacob Whitt, Jaden Whitt, all of Inez, Ashton Whitt and Brooklyn Whitt, both of Ohio. He is also survived by five siblings, Robert Whitt of Louisa, Joyce Morris of Paintsville, Theresa Whitt of Inez, Jessica Whitt of Ohio and Grethal Whitt of West Virginia; and two step-sisters, Ashley Whitt and Jennifer Whitt, both of Inez.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2022 at the New Friendship Church in Louisa, with John Goble officiating. Burial was at the Whitt Cemetery, under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
