Julian Alexander Blake Preece

Julian Alexander Blake Preece, 23, of Lovely, passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville.

He was born April 1, 1999 in Huntington, W.Va., to Kendra Preece Lowe and the late Jimmy Adkins.

Alex is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kendra and Brian Lowe of Lovely; his fiancé, Emily Howell; four children, Kayden, Greyson, Kobe and Jazmyn Adkins. He is also survived by two brothers, Jason Adkins of Lenore, W.Va., and Austin Preece of Pilgrim, and his grandmother, Billie Jean Small Preece.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023 at the Buck Branch United Baptist Church with Maurice Mills, Bubby Stacy and David Stacy officiating. Burial was at the Preece Cemetery in Lovely. Arrangements were under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
