Grant Harris

1953—2022

Grant Harris, 69, passed away Friday, Dec. 30, 2022 at The Oaks Care Home in Lewis Port.

Grant was born May 5, 1953 to the late Isaac Harris and Pearl Fraley Harris. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Richard Hardin, Letcher (Buddy) Harris, Robert (Bob) Harris and Elmer Harris. 

Grant is survived by one son, Scott Harris; five sisters, Phyllis Thompson, Betty (Bill) Day, Shirley (Fayette) Blackburn, Birdie Cassidy and Nanny Mary (Kurt) Hatfield; and three brothers, Jimmy Harris, Johnny Harris and Patrick (Pudge) Harris. 

The family would like to thank the staff at the Oaks Care Home for the loving care they gave to our sweet brother. 

A graveside service was conducted Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023 at Pack-Harris cemetery in Inez. Arrangements were under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
