Lillie (Stacy) Jude

1933—2022

Lillie Jude, age 89, of Lovely, passed away Dec. 25, 2022 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa.

She was born April 9, 1933 in Three Forks to the late Robert Stacy and Rebecca Davis Stacy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Lonnie Jude; one infant daughter, Josephine; three brothers, Cecil Stacy, Keither Stacy and Lawrence Stacy; and two sisters, Emily Howard and Betty Jo Jude.

Survivors include her husband, Herman Staton; three sons, Ray (Linda) Jude of Pilgrim, Elijah (Macie) Jude of Kermit, W.Va., and Johnny (Wanda) Jude of Debord; one daughter, Jenney Robinson of Lovely; one brother, Freeman Stacy of Paintsville; and three sisters, Briza Jewell of Lovely, Ruth Ellen Sparks of Louisa and Roxie Fletcher of Lovely. Additional survivors include 16 grandchildren, Buddy (Ellen) Jude, Larry (Stephanie) Jude, Shyanna (Chris) Muncy, Kierra Jude, Lonnie Ray Jude, Sissy (Robbie) Whitt, Mattie (Carmel) Stacy, Morgan (Chase Crum) Leffel, Sherry Marie Lawrence, Whitney (Colton) Chamblin, Michelle (Jeremy) Moore, Jeremy (Rachel) Jude, Jennifer (John) Daniels, Dalton Jude, Logan White and Bella White, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 at the Union United Baptist Church with Terry Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at the Staton Cemetery. Friends may visit the church Wednesday beginning at 6 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
