INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s office reported the following arrests:

Betty Allen, 30, of Pilgrim, was arrested Friday at Riverside Apartments for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) minor injury. Deputy Chris Kidd was dispatched on a call about a male and female fighting at Riverside Apartments. The deputy reported Allen had a scratch above her eye and mud on her legs, which she said resulted from being thrown to the ground. The male subject had a bleeding scratch on his leg and a scratch on his arm that he stated was a result of Allen “fighting” him.

Douglas Chapman, 39, of Warfield, was arrested Friday at Riverside Apartments for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) minor injury. Deputy Kidd was dispatched on a call about a male and female fighting at Riverside Apartments. The deputy reported Chapman had a bleeding scratch on his leg and a scratch on his right arm, while the female had a scratch above her eye and mud on her legs that she stated came from Chapman throwing her to the ground.

Jeremy Tyler Jude, 26, of Tomahawk, was arrested Friday for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and a bench warrant. Deputy Kidd responded to a complaint of Jude being intoxicated standing in a private drive on Tomahawk Road. Jude was wanted on an active warrant out of Martin District Court. After arresting Jude, the deputy found a clear bag containing a crystal substance in a cigarette box in Jude’s front right pocket.

John Michael May, 50, of Inez, was arrested Thursday by the Catlettsburg Police Department for probation violation in connection to his Aug. 9 arrest in Lawrence County for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (over 2 grams methamphetamine), first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), and improper passing.
Lataijal McNeal, 24, Debord, was arrested Dec. 14 at the USP Big Sandy in Debord on an out-of-state fugitive warrant. Kidd served the warrant.
