Mountain Citizen Players of the Week: Kennadi Mollette and Dray Duff

INEZ — Kennadi Mollette and Dray Duff are this week’s Mountain Citizen Players of the Week.

Mollette went down in the Martin County Lady Cards vs. Marshall County game with a head injury and had to leave the game with what seemed to be a concussion. After a couple of days off practice, the junior forward returned this week with no limitations.

Mollette had a career-high in the Martin County vs. Belfry game knocking down three 3-pointers and scoring 11 of her 14 points in the first quarter to help lead the Lady Cardinals to a 55-39 victory. She recorded her first career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

In the Martin County vs. Shelby Valley game, Mollette had six points and eight rebounds to help lead the Lady Cardinals to a 73-28 win.

She pulls double duty as she is also a member of the Martin County Cheer team.
