INEZ — Kennadi Mollette and Dray Duff are this week’s Mountain Citizen Players of the Week.
Mollette went down in the Martin County Lady Cards vs. Marshall County game with a head injury and had to leave the game with what seemed to be a concussion. After a couple of days off practice, the junior forward returned this week with no limitations.
Mollette had a career-high in the Martin County vs. Belfry game knocking down three 3-pointers and scoring 11 of her 14 points in the first quarter to help lead the Lady Cardinals to a 55-39 victory. She recorded her first career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
In the Martin County vs. Shelby Valley game, Mollette had six points and eight rebounds to help lead the Lady Cardinals to a 73-28 win.
She pulls double duty as she is also a member of the Martin County Cheer team.

Duff is a junior point guard for the Martin County Cardinals. His performance was instrumental in leading the Cardinals past Hazard 63-57 Saturday in the WYMT Classic fifth-place consolation game. Duff finished with 11 points, handed out 10 dimes, and grabbed four boards and three steals.
In the WYMT Classic first-round game Dec. 6, Martin County Cardinals vs. Breathitt County, Duff had nine points and six assists in the 50-47 loss to Breathitt County Bobcats.
Duff is the son of David and Kim Duff.
