Arthur Edwin Moore

1940—2022

Arthur Edwin Moore, 82, of Lovely, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022 at his home.

He was born Feb. 1, 1940 in Martin County, the son of the late Oscar and Carmella Muncy Moore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ann Maynard Moore and two sons, Greg and Doyle Moore.

Edwin was a self-employed businessman who owned trucks and a dredging company as well as several other businesses. 

Edwin is survived by his children, Maxwell Morris Moore and James Aaron Moore, both of Lovely, Tyler Moore of Lexington, Marcella Moore of Morehead and Dottie Sue Moore of Paintsville. He is also survived by several grandchildren and his brother, Wilman Moore of Lovely. 

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 at Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, with Lonnie Smith officiating. Burial was at the Moore Family Cemetery in Lovely. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
