BENTON — Martin County’s Laken Williams was named Player of the Game in the 2022 Marshall County Hoopfest.

The junior guard scored 26 points to lead the Lady Cards to a 45-42 win against Marshall County in a game early Saturday morning at the Reed Conder Gymnasium in Benton.

Williams hit two clutch free throws with 7.7 seconds to go to tie the score 40-40 and send the game into overtime.
