INEZ — Water bill payment assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis in counties declared a state of emergency.
Big Sandy Area Community Action Program announced that funding is extremely limited.
Visit your local BSACAP office to apply.
You will need to provide eligibility documents (Social Security cards for household members, previous month’s income for the household, most recent water bill and a copy of your lease if applicable).
You might be eligible for benefits even if you were not flooded.
Income must be at or below 150% of the federal poverty level.
The qualifying gross monthly income for a household with one member would be $1,699.
For a household with two members, the qualifying gross monthly income would be $2,289.
For three members, the qualifying gross monthly income would be $2,879.
For four members, the qualifying gross monthly income would be $3,4269.
For five members, the qualifying gross monthly income would be $4,059.
The BSACAP office in Martin County is located in the Collier Center in Inez.
