INEZ — Three people were indicted on drug-related charges Monday by a Martin County grand jury.
Henry McCoy, 44, of Inez, was indicted on first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (unspecified). The jury accuses McCoy of committing the crimes Oct. 5.
Shane Ward, 23, of Inez, was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, no/expired registration plates and no/expired registration receipt. The grand jury accuses Ward of committing the crimes Nov. 11.
Eddie Sansom, 46, of Inez, was indicted for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). The grand jury accuses Sansom of committing the crimes Sept. 21.
