LOUISA — Kentucky State Police arrested a Lawrence County man accused of sharing child sexual abuse material online.
Troopers say they arrested 45-year-old Saul E. Carcamo, of Louisa, after an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect uploading images of child sexual exploitation online.
KSP says they seized equipment allegedly used to facilitate the crime and sent it to a digital forensic laboratory for examination.
Carcamo is charged with one count of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor over 12.
He is lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
The Kentucky Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force comprises more than 26 local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
