Ready to plow
The county is ready to plow snow this winter with these two brand-new trucks equipped with plows and salt boxes on the back. Former Martin County Judge/Executive Colby Kirk and Deputy Judge Eric Phelps showed the trucks off before Kirk resigned at the end of October. Kirk said the trucks were part of the county’s lease agreement with Enterprise and would give the county the number of trucks it needs to scrape snow in all districts simultaneously.
