Voting continues this week in clerk’s office

INEZ — The Martin County Clerk’s Office wraps up six days of excused absentee voting Wednesday and rolls out no-excuse absentee machine voting Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

By the end of the day Tuesday, around 137 voters had cast excused absentee ballots in Martin County.

Voting hours Wednesday are 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Hours for Thursday and Friday will be 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday voting will be 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Election Day is Tuesday, and polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at four locations in Martin County:

● Pigeon Roost Community Center

● Martin County Middle School

● Inez Elementary School

● Eden Elementary School

Clerk Susie Skyles reminds voters that all mail-in absentee ballots must be received by 6 p.m. Election Day to be counted.

“Do not delay,” Skyles said. “Get your ballot in.”
